Camjet offers 15, 30 or 45 minute extreme jetboat tours, but only the 45 minute jetboat tour goes all the way to the base of the Karapiro Dam. 45 Minute Extreme Jetboat Tour
(This is our most popular tour).
There is no better way to jetboat New Zealand than speeding up the Mighty Waikato river in a 450hp V8 Jet Boat. Consequently, perfect for getting the heart pumping, the adrenaline flowing and faces smiling.
Experience the thrill of 360○ spins along the Waikato, meanwhile taking in the sights at up to 88 km/h in a purpose built jet boat. Therefore, along the trip you will see the abundance of native bush, wildlife, the narrow Cambridge gorge, waterfalls and rapids. Also you will visit the base of the Karapiro Dam – a working hydro power station with full commentary. LARGE GROUPS:
If you have a large group, you can certainly contact Camjet direct, (we have two 8 – 9 passenger jetboats available and one 11 – 12 passenger twin engine V8 jet boat).
MINIMUM FARE:
We are one of the best value jetboat tours in NZ, but we still have a minimum fare to take the boat out, which is 2 Adults. So if your group consists of 1 adult and 1 child, you will need to select 2 Adults. After that, you can add children, teens, seniors and more adults.
TRAVELING SOLO
No problem, as we depart on minimum numbers, please contact us so you can join a group that is already departing. Otherwise, you are welcome to pay the minimum fare as outlined above.
